Here is a little bit about me.

Hi! I’m Ana. I’m a documentary family photographer based in North London.

I grew up in Brighton, but as a child always had a thirst for adventure. Since leaving home, I have lived and worked in Africa, the Middle East, the Balkans and elsewhere (see here). After the birth of my son, my husband and I traded the tropical beaches of West Africa for North London. And a few years later my daughter was born.

Travelling ignited my passion in photography and led to a master’s in photojournalism and documentary photography. Along the way I started photographing families and never looked back. I love capturing moments that become part of family history and a memento to the nature of your most important relationships.

  • I love baking and keep my family in steady supply of sourdough bread; I play the recorder and cello to the objection of my kids, my son tells me to “stop whistling” and my daughter tries to climb the cello while I play; I love reading and can be counted on for book recommendations.

Get in touch! I’d love to chat.

If you want to know more about me, my style of photography or what a session would be like (or anything else!) do get in touch. I’d love to hear from you and would be very happy to answer any questions. Basically I am always up for a chat!

“Ana captured what a true day in the life of our family is like with a baby in our home. There were so many great pictures to choose from. Ana made us feel really comfortable and the whole process was relaxed and easy from the shoot to ordering prints. I recommend the whole experience!”
